With a growing number of fans and a noticeable legacy in meme rap, Floridian rapper/producer Lil Boom continuously drops aesthetically brilliant and humorous rhymes along with catchy beats and choruses. Read on to get to know this dynamic rising star:
Hailing from Tallahassee, Florida, Lil Boom references topics like anime, porn, sports, and pop culture, creating memorable and explicit tracks that he self-releases. He debuted in 2016 with singles such as "Fuck Steph Curry," "Fuck Taylor Swift," and "Fuck KD 2." He later dropped "Caillou" which sampled the opening theme from the self-titled kids TV series. Catch the single below. These singles were followed by the “Who Is Lil Boom” mixtape, which included his Steph Curry viral sensation. In 2017 & 2018 singles like "Milf Next Door," and "I Don't Sell Crack," as well as "Kimono" were released to high praise which was especially noteable for an independent artist.
In 2019 he released two major projects that solidified his seriousness in his craft and helped him pick up new fans. The first of the two projects named “Hentai Haven” (named after the website) included tracks like “Hyperbolic Time Chamber” and “Uzi Vert II” which some consider to be the best of the project. The second project which dropped later in 2019 was named “Soul Eater”. The project according to some Boom fans is an overall improvement to “Hentai Haven”.
When not making music Boom is on social media interacting with fans either through memes or anything that ranges from hosting streams or sharing speculations on Lil Uzi Vert’s upcoming “Eternal Atake” album. We hope 2020 will be a pivotal year for Lil Boom and we hope he releases new content for his fans and newcomers to enjoy. What's your favorite Boom track?
